Kunji App – Account Deletion Policy

At Kunji, we respect your privacy and provide a simple way for you to delete your account and associated data. Follow the steps below to request account deletion.

1. How to Delete Your Account from the Kunji App

  • Open the Kunji App on your device.
  • Navigate to Settings > Account > Delete Account.
  • Confirm your identity using OTP or email verification.
  • Tap "Delete My Account", and your account will be permanently removed.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

2. Requesting Account Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access the Kunji App, you can request account deletion via email:

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Include:

  • Your full name
  • Your registered email or phone number
  • A reason for account deletion (optional)

Important: We may take up to 7 business days to process your request. You will receive a confirmation once your data is deleted.

3. What Happens After Account Deletion?

  • Your personal details, login credentials, and profile information will be erased.
  • Your order history, transactions, and saved preferences will be deleted.
  • Your chat history and communication logs will be permanently removed.

However, some data may be retained for legal or regulatory purposes, such as:

  • Payment records (retained for up to 6 months for audit and compliance).
  • Customer support interactions (retained for up to 3 months).

After the retention period, this data will also be permanently deleted.
